It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gordon Leo Ledoux, “Angel of the South”, late of Mistawasis, SK on April 22nd, 2026, at the age of 80 years. Gordon was born in Prince Albert, SK on June 3rd, 1945. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rhoda Ledoux; his children Brenda (Cliff) Tawpisin, Timothy Ledoux, Michelle Cameron, Larissa Ledoux (Ryan), & Alycia Dreaver; his grandchildren & great grandchildren; his siblings Joe Ledoux, Kenny Ledoux (Rhoda), Terry Ledoux, Cheryl Ledoux (Arthur), & Charlene Ledoux; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Gordon was predeceased by his adopted son Clay Laliberte; his parents: Louis Dan (Clemence) Wolfe, & Paul (Roseanna) Ledoux; his sisters Annette Williams, Virginia Bird, Louise Ledoux, & Myrna Ledoux; as well as numerous family, and friends.

A Wake Service will be held Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at 1 PM at the Mistawasis School Gym in Mistawasis First Nation, SK.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 27th, 2026, at 11 AM at the Mistawasis School Gym in Mistawasis First Nation, SK.

The Officiant will be Harry Lafond. The Interment will take place at Our Lady of the Poor Roman Catholic Church in Mistawasis First Nation, SK. The Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Gordon. The Pallbearers are Brian Dreaver, Ryan Albert, Joey Ledoux, Raymond Sand, Ian Clarke, Darrell Lafond, Kreedan Cameron, & Delaine Duquette.
