FLEMING – Gordon Fleming, age 95, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2016, at Mont St. Joseph Home, in Prince Albert, SK.   He was born on Feb. 26, 1920, to James and Jeannie Fleming in Kinistino, where he spent most of his life farming.  He will be lovingly remembered by Dorothy, his wife of 69 years; one son, Doug (and his wife Pat); one daughter, Debbie (and her husband Jim Jensen).  Gordon had four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren:  Adam Fleming and his wife Carly (with sons, Cameron and Bowen); Derek Fleming and his wife Loretta; Carla Jensen and her husband, Ben Heumann (with daughter, Isla); and Laura (Jensen) and her husband Karl Marshall.  Gordon is also survived by his beloved youngest sister, Isabel, and her husband Harry Abel, along with many nieces and nephews from both sides of the family.

The family has plans for a memorial in the spring of 2016.  They wish to express appreciation to the staff of Mont St. Joseph for their constant care, respect, and compassion.  Memorial donations in Gordon’s name and honour can be sent to Mont St. Joseph’s Home, 777 – 28th St. E., Prince Albert, SK S6V 8C2.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
