Gord Louis Forrest, born to Irene and Louis Forrest on July 16, 1954, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, in Meath Park, Saskatchewan.
Gord spent his younger years as a logger and cherished the farm life, working with cattle and lending a hand wherever it was needed. Known for his humor and kind heart, he had a way of lighting up a room-often being the first to crack a joke and bring smiles to those around him. He was a wonderful friend, a fabulous neighbor, and always ready to help when called upon.
Gord is survived by his children, Darren, Dwayne, and stepdaughter Cindy, all of Calgary, Alberta. He is also survived by his twin brother, Garry, and sisters, Brenda and Paulette, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by his warmth and humor. Gord is predeceased by his late sister, Gale, and late little brother, Freddy,
Gord will be remembered for his generosity, laughter, and the love he shared with family and friends.
