Glen Edward Steffen

With great sadness we announce that Glen Edward Steffen passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 78 after a lengthy illness.
Glen was born on August 18, 1947, to John and Hulda Steffen, joining brother Marvin and sister Marilyn.
He attended schools in Mont Nebo and Shellbrook. After graduating he started working in the wholesale food industry for Loblaws and Weston Companies which took him to every part of Saskatchewan. After his father’s passing, he moved back to the farm part-time as well. On “retirement” he had rural postal routes which allowed him to continue meeting and talking with anyone and everyone.
Glen is survived by his wife Patricia Steffen; Stepson Terrance (Leslie); Grandson Colton; Stepson Thomas; Nieces Sheila (Bart), Kali (Charles), and Aiden; Brother-in-law Jack (Dianne) and family; Sister-in-law Peggy (Monte) and family; Sister-in-law Olga (Brian) and family; as well as many cousins, extended family, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Hulda; Sister Marilyn; Brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Colleen; Parents-in-law Thomas and Patricia; Brothers-in-law Mel, Brian, and Terrence; Grandson Jaiden; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Mont Nebo Evangelical Free Church, Mont Nebo, SK. Interment will follow in the Aaseral Cemetery.
In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Glen to Lung Sask (2308 Arlington Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L3) or charity of donor’s choice.
