Ghislaine Painchaud passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Big River, Saskatchewan, Ghislaine devoted her life to her family, her faith, and the people she loved.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be remembered for her kindness, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humour. Her Catholic faith was extremely important to her and was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life. Ghislaine enjoyed sewing, painting, and gardening was one of her favourite things to do. She took great joy in watching her garden grow and creating beauty around her.

Ghislaine will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Bernard Painchaud, her family, and many dear friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Both services will be held at St. Joseph Parish, 260 25 St E, Prince Albert, SK.
