VAN BREUGEL, GERTRUDA
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Gertruda (Trudy) Van Breugel in Prince Albert on May 25, 2013, after a short illness. Trudy was born in Holland in 1927. In 1954 she, husband Peter and two small children immigrated to Canada and settled in Prince Albert. Later they moved to Moose Jaw and finally retired to Emma Lake. Trudy was active in the senior’s community in PA, volunteering at Pineview Terrace, the Columbian Centre and several community organizations over the course of her life. She will be missed by her many friends, her extended family in Holland and Belgium and all her family in Canada. Trudy was predeceased by her husband Peter and grandson Michael Horseman. She is survived by her sons: Frank (Marilyn) in Moose Jaw, Bill (Diana) in Saskatoon; daughter Leisjea Horseman (Grant) in Emma Lake. Surviving grandchildren and great-grandchildren include Nathan Van Breugel (Che, Cienna) of Kananaskis, Megan Van Breugel (Brian King, Finn) in England, Ben, TJ, Emily Van Breugel in Saskatoon, Ryan Horseman in Edmonton, Mark Horseman (Sara, Aidan, Anica, Tarek, Thiessen) in Saskatoon. Thank you to Home Care and all Mom's friends who visited her. A special thanks to Marie and Wilma. The family will hold a private interment at a later date.
