It’s with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Gerry Braumberger. Gerry will be lovingly missed by his wife Alvina of 50 years; his sons Michael (Anita) and their children Jordan and MacKenzie; Aaron (Monic) and their children Daven and Madyn; one sister Shirley Brough; sisters-in-law Erna Holdal, Anne Mayer, Hilda (Walter) King, Martha (Harry) King, Doris Finishen, Harold (Olga) Hodel, Diane Hodel, Ellen Hodel, Doreen Hodel; numerous nieces and nephews. (One very special niece Linda Vandale).  He was predeceased by: his parents Frank and Cecilia; sisters Norma, Marie and Marlis, brothers Roy and Eddy; his father and mother-in-law Rudolf and Millie Hodel; his brothers-in-law Martin Sheppard, Mel Holdal, Ron Hodel, George Hodel, Peter Mayer and Bill Finishen. Gerry was born at Fort QuAppelle and truly loved his valley.  He started his work life at the age of 16 by going to work at a Dairy Farm.  He was a hard worker all his life spending 36 1/2 years at Sask Energy and doing other interesting jobs for many years after his retirement from Sask Energy.  He spent many hours of his leisure time playing Cribbage with his brother-in-law. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Father Jim Kaptein officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date.  In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 564 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
