Hansen-Mercredi, Gerard Edwin John – late of Wollaston Lake, SK passed away on January 27, 2014 at the age of 8 years in Saskatoon, SK. Gerard will be lovingly remembered by his brothers: Garret and Grady; his parents: Billy Jack & Glenda; his grandparents: Billy Joe & Georgina Mercredi and Flora & Harry Hansen; his great-grandparents: Angus & Julienne Tsannie; his aunties: Joyce (Darren) Torrie, Rosanna (Arthur) Good, Sharlene (Duncan) Brown, Christina (Rodney) Clarke, Jeannie (Wayne) Brown, Tanya (Derek) Mercredi; his uncles: Jerry (Linda) Mercredi, Bobby (Alycia) Mercredi, Billy Joe Junior (Stephanie) Mercredi and Billy John (Shauna) Mercredi; his godparents: Brian & Angel Joseyounen; his cousins: Keri, Jared, Kiersten, Darianne, Kimberly, Nichole (Lyla and Dale), AJ, Brandon, Lyndon, Keanon, Meagon, Troy, Katie, Kolton, Alex, Brooklyn, Conner, Deanna, Emery, Tyrin John, Carter, Brier and Suri; his Aunties: Julie Tsannie and Jolene Hansen; his nanny: Hector Kkailther; his uncles: Michael (Annie) Hansen and Scott Hansen; his cousins: Mark, Rachel, Traye, Marla (Samson), Mavis, Zach, Blaire, Nathan, Sydney, Shawn, Nathania and Cyril; as well as numerous cousins, friends and family. Gerard was predeceased by his great-grandparents: Judith and Boniface Mercredi; his great-grandparents: Mary Anne & Cyril Hansen and Marie & Pierre Catholic; his great uncles: Edwin Mercredi, Freddi Mercredi, Leon Mercredi, Edwin Boneleye, Alphonse Sayazie and Jonas Hansen; and his great aunties: Christina Mercredi and Ernestine Robillard. The Wake will be commencing January 29, 2014, Father Megret Elementary School, Hatchet Lake, SK. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 – 2:00 pm, St. Adrian’s Catholic Church, Wollaston Lake, SK. Interment to follow at Hatchet Lake Cemetery, Hatchet Lake, SK.
