George William Roberts, otherwise known as “Chocolate”, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the age of 63 years.  He was born December 21, 1957 in La Ronge, SK to Lydia and Harry Roberts.

George is lovingly remembered by: his daughter, Rhea Roberts; his sons, Warren (Jenna) Roberts, Lloyd “Dudes” (Kayle) Roberts, Emmett Roberts and George Roberts; Mother of his children, Donna McKay; his sisters, Patsy (Ray) Head, Bella Bradfield and Josie Roberts; his brothers, Norman Roberts and Sam (Sally) Roberts; his grandchildren, GeAnne, Mayah, Aubree, Kourtney, Carys, Donna, and Joshua; his aunt,  Margaret Carlson; his uncle, Douglas (Margaret) McLeod; his Godson, Edmund Roberts; his Goddaughters, Celine Roberts and Anne-Marie Bird; his sisters-in-law, Bella Roberts, Wilma Roberts, and Nora Roberts; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by: his son, Todd Josh Roberts; his parents, Harry and Lydia Roberts (nee: Bird); his sisters, Delia Roberts and Caroline Mirasty; his brothers, Moses “Fisher” Roberts and Jonas Clarke Roberts; his nephews, Bryan Kinch and Conner Roberts; his special friend, Lucille Crichton; his maternal grandparents, Walter and Annie Bird (nee: Sanderson); his paternal grandparents, Norman and Mary Roberts (nee: McLeod); his in-laws, Larry and Jeanie Clarke; his brothers-in-law, Allen R. Bradfield, Rudy Mirasty and John Kinch; umerous aunts and uncles; family friends, Abel Roberts and Alcide Lariviere; and his dog Sewis.

Wake and Funeral Services will be held in La Ronge, SK, with interment at The Anglican Church Cemetery, La Ronge, SK.
