GEORGE WILLIAM FREEMAN
Feb 17, 1935 – Feb 17, 2021
George William Freeman was born February 17th, 1935, he died February 17th, 2021. George entered the world on this day and left on this day 86 years later. He married, farmed and raised his family. After his divorce, George worked at different jobs. His greatest love was the rodeo circuit. His main interest was chuck wagons. He sat on the board of the Lloydminster Chuck Wagon Association for many years. George was very well known in the Lloyd area. He made friends easily. George enjoyed reading and went on to write a couple of books. He enjoyed gardening, loved growing tomatoes. He enjoyed all aspects of nature, going for drives in the country, just to see something different. He loved spring and the crocuses. Loved July, for the heat and hated the cold of winter. George enjoyed singing in the church choir, loved animals, horses, cows and his Dalmatian dogs. George was a kindhearted man that would give you the shirt off his back even if he couldn’t afford it. His home was your home. He came to the nursing home in Spiritwood beginning of December 2020. He will be missed, and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Memorial donations in memory of George may be directed to the Idylwild Lodge Ladies Auxilliary, Spiritwood, SK.
