George passed away peacefully at Mont St. Joseph Nursing Home on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the age of 78. He was born September 11, 1931 in Kinistino, SK. George moved to Thompson, MB in June 1969 and worked at Inco until returning in March, 1993. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Diane; his daughter-in-law Natalie; his children Bruce (Lori) and Kim (Kevin) Ellsworth; his grandchildren Meaghan, Chelsey, Cheryce (Scott), Lorice, Selena, Kayla and Raeliegh; his great granddaughter Anika; his brother Frank; his sisters Edna Svenkeson and Clara Pilling; as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. George was predeceased by his son Darwyn in 2008; his parents Albert and Clara Pilling; as well as nine brothers and three sisters. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at St. David’s Anglican Church, 500 – 24th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Father Norbert Haukenfrers officiating. Interment will be held at Kinistino Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301–2550–12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
