George Patrick Jr. Busch, son of the late Beatrice (nee Anderson) and George Busch passed away suddenly on Friday September 2, 2016. George was born in Prince Albert on May 20, 1950. George attended school in Prince Albert and graduated from Riverside Collegiate. George joined the Army Cadets while in high school. He was also employed during summer breaks along with his friends fighting forest fires, and he had many amusing stories to tell about their experiences. George’s first job was working in accounting for the Courts in Prince Albert. He went on to be employed at the Prince Albert pulp mill where he stayed until he was forced to take medical retirement due to chronic illness. George married his loving wife Margaret (nee Walker) in 1983. George loved spending time outdoors with family and friends, whether it was camping, fishing, cutting fire wood, quadding or hunting, he enjoyed it all. George is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter Brandy; one brother; three sisters; his aunt Kay Pruden: as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. George had a huge heart when it came to animals and he rescued many dogs and cats over his lifetime. George will be forever in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Alban’s Cathedral, 1410 Bishop McLean Crescent, Prince Albert, SK on Thursday September 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with The Reverend Andrew Hoskin officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations made in George’s memory to the SPCA would be appreciated.
