Gay Lynn Kennedy
July 25, 1956 – December 28, 2013

Gay was born on July 25, 1956 to Gordon and Marlene Kennedy. She passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Victoria Hospital on Dec. 28, 2013. Gay is survived by her siblings; Gwen Kennedy, Mona Welykholowa, Curtis Kennedy, Don Salmond, Lori Magee, Tara Harrison, Cory Kennedy and their families; her Aunt Ingrid Sinoski & family; uncle Ken & aunt Arlene Kennedy & family; her good friends Vic and Ruth Timm and Audrey Boyko.
Gay was predeceased by her parents Gordon (Bud) & Marlene Kennedy; her brother Wade Kennedy; her brother Guy Kennedy; her brother-in-law Chris Danzcak and her stepmother Carole Kennedy. Gay was feisty, opinionated, independent and tough as nails but had a simple love of life and loved helping others. The place most dear to her heart was always at Christopher Lake, she loved being there; just hanging out, picking berries or going for supper at Lake Country Cottage. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Val Bodnaryk officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers; donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9 or to the Prince Albert SPCA, PO Box 1832, Prince Albert, SK.
