It is with heavy hearts, but wonderful memories, that we announce Gary’s sudden passing, at the young age of 63 years, on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
Gary will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Sandy, and children: Michael (Jyl), Tristan (Linda), Tasha (Paul), Crystal (Murray), Carling, Holly (Rod) and Peter; grandchildren: Colby, Joel, Katelyn, Hudson, Austin, Riley, Kayla, Jordan, Peter Andrew; his mother Irene (Ed); his brother and sisters: Marlene, Linda (Des), Doug (Kerry); brothers-in-law Barry and Steven (Candice); mother-in-law Agnes, numerous nieces and nephews, and furry companion, Zoe. He was predeceased by his father William (Bill) Kemp.
Gary lived his short, but full life, embracing his family, building his business, serving his community and, annually, fishing our northern lakes with the sons and brother. He was a chartered accountant who loved his work and was dedicated to serving his clients. Gary had great respect for his long association with his business partners. A devoted husband, loving and supportive father, and proud grandfather, Gary’s unexpected passing leaves a large void in our hearts and our lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. At Gary’s request there will be a private memorial service for family and friends who will celebrate Gary’s life and mourn their loss. For those so wishing, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation would be appreciated. Condolences can be sent to the family at gnkcondolences@gmail.com
