Garry Rudolph
March 3, 1944 – May 25, 2021
Age 77 years young
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of a very special Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Born March 3rd, 1944, to Daniel and Mary Rudolph of Hague, SK., Garry lived on the family farm and when ready, left to go to Saskatoon to start a career in the electrical trade obtaining his electrical journeyman’s in 1967. Garry met and married Sandra Carduner resulting in three children: Natalie, Kirk and Lori. Following the electrical trade resulted in several moves between Calgary and Saskatoon and eventually to Unity, SK in 1971 opening a partnership electrical company. The partnership dissolved and Garry’s Electric was formed. In 1979 a move to Shellbrook, SK occurred, and Rudolph’s Tire shop was built. Garry and Sandie divorced, and he met Lois Stewart whom he remained happily married to for 27 years until his death.
The tire shop business was sold and for 18 years Garry worked at Action Petroleum until he retired at the age of 65. After he retired, he went to work for Sweeny Electric and continued full time until the age of 74; however, continued to consult for several years after.
Garry’s last move was to Holbein, SK in 1984 finding his little piece of heaven which included Lois’ terrific company and love. He enjoyed several recreational activities throughout his life including snowmobiling, quadding, boating, camping, waterskiing, hunting, roasting hotdogs, and marshmallows. Spending time with a variety of family members and friends was always something he enjoyed; the coffee pot was always on.
