Garry John Ballantyne “Pithîsîs” was born on Monday, December 30, 1957, in Pelican Narrows, SK, and passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, in Deschambault Lake, SK, at the age of 61 years. Garry is survived by his loving family, his daughter, Kelly (Donnie Beatty); his adopted children, June (Roland), Walter (Thelma), Eugene (Marilyn); his brothers, Issac (Mary Ann), Leonard (Angelique), Roland (June); his sisters, Eliza Thomas, Annie Ratt (Melvin S.); his uncle, Tommy Robillard; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John D. & Jean Marie Ballantyne; his sisters, Angelique Ballantyne, Mabel Ballantyne; his brothers, Oscar D. Ballantyne, Bruce Ballantyne, William Ballantyne; his brothers-in-law, Roderick Thomas, Charlie Ballantyne; his aunties and uncles, Francis Charles, Alice Cook, Martha Beatty, William Ballantyne; his grandparents, Robert & Annie Ballantyne, Eliza Custer, Joe Robillard; his nieces and nephews, Wendy Ballantyne, Harriet McCallum, Melinda Charles, Hilda Eninew, Patricia Roberts, Sampson Ballantyne, Philip Custer; his cousin, Philip Beatty. The Prayer Service for Garry will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK. The Wake Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 and Sunday December 8, 2019, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, in Deschambault Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Monday, December 9, 2019, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, in Deschambault Lake, SK, Gene Ermine and Elias Ballantyne officiating.
