Garnet Eldon Smith: passed away suddenly on March 7th, 2013 in Strathmore Alberta at the age of 63. Garnet grew up in Tisdale and was the fourth child born to Andrew and Patricia Smith. Garnet was part of Smith Hatcheries Limited until its closing in 1995. He then moved to Alberta and worked within the Calgary and Strathmore areas. Garnet is will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Lawrence (Velvet), Clarence (Peggy), Delbert (Jo-Ann) and by his sisters, Muriel, Sylvia (Jim) and Lillian as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends. Garnet was predeceased by his partner Sharon and his parents Andrew and Patricia (nee Teale) Smith.
A memorial will be held in the Tisdale Community Bible Church 802-101 Avenue Tisdale Sask. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 29th, 2013. Pastor Brian Friesen will be officiating.
