Garfield “Gary” Thomas Hendrix, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, at 89 years of age.  He was born in Henribourg, SK, to Margaret and John Hendrix. Gary worked at Canada Post for 35 years, was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 50+ years, enjoyed curling and had a keen interest in vintage cars and antiques in his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel and her children; his children, Shirley, Arlene (Steve), Donna (Don), Vernon (Sara) and Allan; his grandchildren, Carissa, Michael, Noah, Nathan, Jillian and Ethan; and sister, Mary.  He is predeceased by his first wife, Grace, and son-in-law, Elliot.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Parish on September 29, 2026, at 10:00 am, 581-9th St E, Prince Albert, SK. Public visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass.
