It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francis after a battle with cancer at the age of 72. Francis passed away peacefully on September 11, 2012. He was a devoted husband, leaving behind his wife of 53 years, Betty; loving father to his three daughters, Shelly (Brad) Stubbs, Jacqueline (Mark) Sheppard and Holly (Ken) Kurysh & his daughter Shelby; granddaughter Heather (Andrew) Hettrick and great granddaughters Ava and Emma Hettrick. He also left to mourn his mother, Mary Britz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. He was predeceased by his father Paul Britz and his sister and brother-in-law Delores and Leon Breit. The family would like to send a special thanks to the doctors and nurses that helped with the care of Francis over the past year and a half. In appreciation, a special thanks to all that share in the family's sorrow. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated and will always be remembered. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Father Travis Myrheim officiating. Private Family Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
