Florence Linetta Benroth
1942 ~ 2026

Florence “Linetta” Benroth (née Davidson) was born on March 20, 1943, in Southey, SK, and passed away on October 22, 2026, in Foam Lake, SK, at the age of 84 years.

Linetta was a woman who cherished both quiet moments and time spent with those she loved. An avid reader, she looked forward to a tradition she faithfully kept throughout the years, treating herself each payday to a new paperback book and a vase of flowers. She took great pride in tending to her beautiful flowers and enjoyed the peace and satisfaction that gardening brought her.

A devoted Saskatchewan Roughriders fan, Linetta rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her team and enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. Travel was another passion, and she was fortunate to share many memorable trips south with the Deif’s Chief’s. Some of her most treasured times were spent with Harvey in Phoenix and Palm Springs, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Linetta enjoyed gathering with family and friends around the card table for a game of cards or a round of poker. She was also known for hosting steak dinners and welcoming loved ones and teammates into her home. Whether sharing a meal, a conversation, or a laugh, Linetta’s greatest joy came from spending time with those she cared about.

Linetta is survived by her siblings, Jim (Bonnie) Davidson, Janet (Don) Gellner; her sisters-in-law, Velma Benroth, Marilyn (Rudy Wagner); numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Benroth (2004); her parents, Art & Edna Davidson; her in-laws, John & Hannah Benroth; her brother-in-law, Harold Benroth.

The Memorial Service for Linetta will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, October 30, 2026, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Nora Vedress officiating.
