Florence Elsie Curts July 8, 1923 – October 11, 2016 Florence will be missed as the matriarch of the family. She was a World War II Veteran as well as a life-long member of the Paddockwood Legion and Royal Purple. She loved to travel, play cards and was an avid sports fan. Florence will be lovingly remembered by: her children: Barbara, Gary, Brian (Heather), and Deborah; her grandchildren: Terry (Lois), Michelle (Anton), Candice (Kurt), Nikki, Jaimie, Rob (Arianne), Joe (Michelle) and Sarah; her seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters-in-law: Clara Wiberg and Gusta Thorsen. Florence was predeceased by her husband: Alvin in 1995. A Private Graveside Service was held. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Prince Albert Branch No. 2, all are welcome. The Family wishes to thank the Staff and Residents of Birchview Nursing Home for the extreme kindness and care given to Florence in her final days.
