FLORENCE CHALUPIAK
February 3, 1932 – June 28, 2014
It is with sadness, and yet gratefulness, that the family of Florence Chalupiak announces her passing at the age of 82 years. Florence lived in her own home until her passing and now lives in her heavenly home with her soul mate Marvin, “Dede”. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her son Allen (Leslie Blacklock) and their children Taylor, Emily and Nelson; her daughter Grace (Lory Kihn); her two sisters Lillian Fach and Jean Poluck; numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her sister Violet Austin in 1985; her grandson Nicholas in 1992, her husband Marvin in 2011 and her granddaughter Jessica in 2012; her brothers-in-law Russ Austin, Morley Fach and Tony Poluck. Camping and fishing were Baba and Dede’s happiest times, as well as all family gatherings. Memories of Baba’s campfire coffee will always stay with us. Christmas and Easter were celebrations of their Ukrainian heritage – Baba Florence’s perogies and cabbage rolls were the very best. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at First Baptist Church, 1351 28 Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director
