FERNAND PAULHUS
Fernand Joseph Paulhus passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the age of 79 following a second stroke. Fern was born on February 22, 1935 in Batoche to Fred and Alice Paulhus. Fern started working at an early age and eventually became a plumber. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and enjoyed sharing his own brand of jokes to anyone who would listen. He liked socializing and playing cards with his neighbours. He also liked working with the surrounding farmers during spring seeding and fall harvest. His favourite pastime was tinkering in his garage and working on vehicles alongside his son, Darryl, his pride and joy in life. Fern is survived by Darryl (Colleen) who lives in Australia, as well as his brothers Clement, Marcien, and Henri, his sisters Edwidge, Elmina and Aurelie as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents and brothers, Andre, Elie, Julien, Raphael and Philippe. Fern requested there be no funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date when it finally quits snowing!! Lol. One final joke, Fern, to say goodbye. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Colette Kadziolka, Funeral Director.
