Fern Kathleen Munson

1939 – 2023

 

Fern Kathleen Munson, born June 10, 1939 in Hafford, SK passed away peacefully with her 4 children by her side on Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 83.

She is loved and will be missed by her children Candice (Dan Oliver), Donna (David Sharp), Troy, and Jody Nemetz (Bob Stebbings); and her grandchildren Shawn Munson (Shabree), and Riley, Ruby and Cooper Nemetz. She was also a foster mom to too many children to name who all loved and will miss her.

She is predeceased by her husband Gerald Munson; her parents Charles and Ruby Thomas; as well as her brothers Allan, Gordon, and Dennis; and sister Margaret (Peggy) Thompson.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Graveside service and Interment will follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, Highway 2 South, Prince Albert, SK, and Celebration of Life Tea to follow at Grays’ Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Fern may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3.
