Evelyn Mae Sutton of Star City passed away on Saturday January 10, 2015, surrounded by the love of her family. Evelyn was born on February 27, 1926 along with her twin sister Phyllis to John and Clara Coombs and older sister Margaret. At the age of seven, she lost her mother. Her father later married Agnes Lindberg. From this marriage, Evelyn gained two more beloved sisters, Bernice (Cecil) Lawrence and Lois (Clint) Tetarenko. Evelyn married John (Jack) Sutton on October 18, 1950. They made their home in the McAllister School District, later moving to Star City. Evelyn was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a strong supporter of the Star City community and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Evelyn enjoyed reading, puzzles, word puzzles and games, and playing cards. She enjoyed traveling with family or to visit family. Evelyn is survived by her five children, Kathryn (Gary) Block, Carroll (Ken) Weseen, Iona (Allan) Hadland, Colleen (Darrell) Collins, Brent (Darlene) Sutton; ten grandchildren, Robert (Christiana), Devin (Shannon) Weseen, Ryan Block, Tanya Block (Jeff), Jackie (Leslie M.) Haroldson, Kallom (Morgan) Hadland, Richelle Sutton (Keith), John Sutton (Tera), Jacinda (Zac) Scott, Jason (Stephanie) Collins and great grand children, Gaige, Colton, Haley, Jenna, Breanna, Shayla Weseen, Madison, Kayla, Karly Block, Jarome Block Rigby, Riley, Ashlyn Hadland, Leslie A. Haroldson, Sophia, Ava Scott, Melodie, Samuel, Maximillian, Mercedes Collins, Noah Thompson. Evelyn is survived by her sisters Margaret Hillier, Bernice (Cecil) Lawrence, Lois (Clint) Tetarenko and sister-in-law Jean Rogers. Her unique personality and unending love will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
