We are saddened to announce the passing of our aunt, Esther Sarah Sommerfeld, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. She was born March 29, 1930 in Shellbrook, SK and was 95 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph & Anna Sommerfeld; her sister and her husband, Bertha & Richard Gurney; her brother and his wife, Walter & Mabel Sommerfeld; and nephew, Rod Gurney. She is survived by nieces, Carol Bryson, Janet Grasby & Lori Shepherd and nephew, Rick Gurney. She lived a quite life and will always be remembered for her love of children, nature, photography, Ford Mustangs and painting, a hobby she took up later in life.
