Ernest Roy Bazley of Canwood, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24,2014 at Shellbrook, Saskatchewan at the age of 84 years. Roy will lovingly be remembered by his loving wife Doris; his step children Trudy (Clarence) Smith, Valray (Shelly) Wideen, Janice (Terry) Eliason, Wendy Olson, and Trevor (Tracy) Wideen; sister Grace Hatch; brothers Harry Bazley and Francis (Thelma) Bazley; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret Bazley; one brother in law Dick Hatch; two sisters in law Myrtle and Agnes Bazley; and aunt and uncle May (George) Bartley. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 @ 2p.m at the Canwood Community Hall with Very Reverend Ken O. Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery Churchyard in Mont Nebo, Saskatchewan. Memorial Donations in memory of Roy Bazley may be directed to the Canwood Community Curling Club, Canwood, Saskatchewan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Eleanor Person of Hawryluk Funeral Home in Canwood, Saskatchewan.
