Elie “Eli” Bear was born on February 16, 1932, in Pelican Narrows, SK, and passed away on March 21, 2025, in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 93 years.
Elie “Eli” is survived by Kennetch (Nora) Charlette, Hazel (Joseph) McDonald, Clara Bear, Patrick Bear, Barbara (Steve) Morin, Judy Ann (Bradley Goulet) Bear, Frances (Dean Badger) Bear, Patrina (Kelvin Brass), Jeanine (Daniel McDonald) Bear, Joan (Jason McDonald) Bear; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; numerous godchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Moise & Harriet Bear; his wife, Marie M. Bear; his daughter, Rose Skeavington; his son-in-law, Albert Skeavington; his brothers, Edward Bear, Ovide Bear, Angus Bear, Alphonse Bear, Louis Bear, Roderick Bear; his sisters, Mary Ann Morin, Rosie Ray, Veronica Bear, Elaine Bear, Adele Ray; his grandchildren, Jonathan Morin, Noah Bear; his great-grandchildren and numerous relatives.
The Prayer Service for Eli will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the residence of Eli Bear, in Sandy Bay, SK, continued Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Gary Morin Memorial Hall, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Maggie Hunter and Evelyn McDonald officiating.
