Elaine Gassner

It is with great sadness that the family of Elaine Marie Gassner (née Malbeuf) announce her passing at St. Paul’s Hospital, in Saskatoon, SK, on November 5, 2023. She was 67 years old.

Elaine is survived by her common-law husband, Randy Zawislake; her sons, Timothy Gassner (Aimee), Brian Gassner (Brittany), Stacey Gassner (Gerry-Lynn), and Dallas Gassner; her step-daughters, Ciara Klassen (Dave) Dede Gordey (Shane) and Jody Zawislake; her siblings, Garry Malbeuf, Patsy Maier, Marlene Lay, and Lynda Mann; her grandchildren, Kayla (Dylan) Walsh, Tristen Gassner, Annabelle Gassner, Jimmy Gassner, Aubrey Gassner, Miller Gassner, Jordan Barber, Brae-Lynn, Talia, Lakiesha, Justus Klassen, Hailey Klassen, Bree Klassen, Alexa Gordey, Janesa Gordey, Larahya Gordey, Makenna Gordey, Lucas Dragonetti, Alyssa Dragonetti; and great-grandson, Torren Walsh.

Elaine was predeceased by her mother, Eva Malbeuf; father, Joseph Malbeuf; first husband, Jack Gassner; brother, George Malbeuf; sister, Paulette Tourand; grandparents, Caroline Laliberte, Jean Baptiste Malbeuf, Alvina and William Vandale; brothers-in-law, Victor Tourand, Ed Maier, Herbie Lay and Larry Mann; and her nephew, Robert Kykkanen.

Elaine was cremated in Prince Albert, SK, on November 14, 2023, a celebration of her life will be held at a later time. Elaine’s family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to everyone who joined Elaine on her earthly journey.
