Boneleye, Edwin late of Black Lake, SK passed away on March 27, 2013 at the age of 55 years in Stony Rapids, SK. Edwin will be lovingly remembered by: his loving wife of 33 years: Helen; his daughters: Iris (Kevin) and Edwina Becky; his pride and joy first grandbaby: Kyler; his sons: Dennis, Terry (Cheryl), Sandy (Corrine), Trevor (Janella), Eddie (Crystal) and Shane; his brothers: Alphonse (Ellen) and family, Ambrose (Florence) and Family and Travis (Crystal) Boneleye; his sisters: Celine (George) and family, Christina (George) and family, Elizabeth (Roger) and family and Eva (Magloire) and family; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Valentine (Pierre) Robillard and family, Georgina (Billy Joe) Mercredi and family, Debbie (Adolphus) Mercredi and family, George (Christina) Catholic and family, Eileen (Gerald) MacDonald and family, Archie (Julie) Toutsaint and family, Clara (Joe Paul) Sandypoint and family, Eileen Boneleye and family and Travis (Crysta) and family; his grandchildren: Cherelle, Shawn, Sandra, Jayvan, Jayvor, Jasper and Trinelle; his special friends: Georgie Toutsaint, Freddie Robillard, John and Josephine Echodh, Donald Sayazie, Freddie Throassie, Modest Robillard, Philip John Blacklake, Frank Maurice, Louie Martin John and Ettene Black; as well as numerous friends and relatives from the Athabasca region, west side and all over. Edwin was gifted with many friends. His uncles: Magloire (May) Sayazie and Martin Sayazie; and his aunts: Betty May Toutsaint, Josephine Seegerts, Angeline Toutsaint and Norma Sayazie. Edwin was predeceased by: his baby son: Edwin Jr.; his parents: Edward and Mary Madeline Boneleye; his brothers: Pierre Boneleye and George Boneleye; his in-laws: Pierre, Marie Catholic and Catherine Toutsaint; his brother-in-law: Alphonse Sayazie; his uncles and aunties: John & Christine Medal, Armand & Mary Rose Robillard, Armand Sayazie, Alfred & Germaine Cook, Agatha Sayazie and Ellen (Noel) Laban; his grandparents: Pierre & Sarah Sayazie and Vincent & Christine Boneleye; and his special friends: Roger & Irene Mercredi, Albert Mercredi, Germaine Dadzene, Lazare Echodh, John Laban and George Fern. As well as numerous friends and family. A Wake Service will be held from Thursday, March 28, 2013 to Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Residence of Helen Boneleye, Black Lake, SK . A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 ~ 2:00 pm, at the Our Lady of the Cape Roman Catholic Church, Black Lake, SK. Interment to follow at the Black Lake Cemetery, Black Lake, SK.
