EDWARD JOE SEWAP 1974 – 2014 Edward Sewap, age 35, passed away Friday, October 7, 2014 at Harper’s Island, Jan Lake. His Wake Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22 at River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK; on Wednesday, October 22 at the home of Maggie Highway, Pelican Narrows, SK; and on Thursday, October 23 at at. Bartholemew Anglican Church, Pelican Narrows.
His Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 24 from St. Bartholemew Anglican Church, with Celebrants Canon Angus Sewap and Reverend Elias Ballantyne. Edward will be lovingly remembered by: his daughter Michelle Sewap; his son Jeremy Sewap; his dad Thomas Sewap; his siblings Norman (Miyagi) Sewap, Roland George Sewap, Kyle Sewap, Lyle Sewap, Deborah (Calvin) Sewap, Mary Ann Sewap, Derilynn Sewap, Charlotte Sewap; his adopted family Mom – Maggie Highway, Willard (Lisa) Highway, Darren (Miranda) Highway, Darcy (Francine) Highway, Margaret (Alec) Ballantyne, Rachel, David (Mary) Custer; his North of 60 special friends Roland Halcrow, Peter Thomas C., Bobby Bear, Joseph Highway, Leo Cook, Dustin Highway; his aunties Marriette (Roland) McCallum, Maggie (John) Charles, Rita (Allan) Sewap, Jane (Elias) Ballantyne; his uncles Pierre #2 Sewap, Adam (Margaret) Sewap, Larry (Sandra) Sewap, Roger Custer; his best friend Darwyn Baby Highway.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mrs. Aileen (Custer) Sewap; his infant sister Montana; his aunties Emma, Charlotte, Nancy, Frances Ballantyne, Marion Michel, Doris Merasty, Suzette Morin; his uncles Colin, George, Solomon Custer, Alphonse Sewap, Archie Custer; his grandparents Charles and Mary Custer, Joel and Flora Sewap; his cousins April Ballantyne, Stephen Custer, Theresa Merasty. Edward was born Sunday, September 2, 1979 in Flin Flon, MB. Interment took place in Moise Bear Memorial Gardens, Pelican Narrows.
