Edward "Ed" Sulewski

Edward “Ed” Sulewski, late of Prince Albert, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Rose Garden Hospice, on November 25, 2024, at the age of 88 years.
He was born on August 1, 1936, to Michael and Bronislawa Sulewski in Henribourg, Saskatchewan. Ed was a grain buyer, insurance adjuster, and a proud and highly successful farmer in Paddockwood for over 40 years. He was a gentle and loving husband, father, and grandfather as well as a strong advocate and builder for his community through his many contributions.
Ed will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of 62 years, Joan; their sons, Derek; Gavin (Catharine) and their children Elleanor, Mairi, and Elizabeth; Travis (Jennifer) and their children Lucas and Veronica; Reagen (Marilee) and their children Max and Charlotte; as well as his siblings, Jessie Pask, Henry Sulewski, Phyllis Mickelson, and Rosa Beaton, his sister-in-law, Cecile Sulewski, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Jeannie, Helena, Irene, Stanley, Steven, Alfreda, Richard, Michael, and John; daughter-in-law Mandy Bachur; brothers-in-law Don Presley, Rex Hammill, Charles Wilson, and John Pask; nephews Howard Hammill and Jeffrey Rogers; and his niece-in-law Dorthy Hammill.
The family would like to extend deep gratitude to the staff at Mont St Joseph for the special care given to Ed during his 2.5 year stay. Thank you to Father Vu for the solace provided to Ed and his family. Thank you to Dr. Balingit and the 5th floor staff for the great care given at Victoria Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Alanna Surkan and the nurses, caregivers and staff at the Rose Garden Hospice for their care and compassion during the final days of his long and courageous battle.
In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Ed may be made to Rose Garden Hospice, 500 38th Street West, Prince Albert, SK, S6W 0A3, and Mont St Joseph Home, 777 28 St E, Prince Albert, SK S6V 8C2. Ed will be interred at the Henribourg cemetery during a ceremony with family held in the future.
