Edward Custer, age 29 years, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014, in Pelican Narrows, SK. He was born Friday, June 14, 1985, in Flin Flon, MB. Wake Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the Allan Bird Memorial Gym, Prince Albert, SK, with Officiants Reverend Angus Sewap and Reverend Elias Ballantyne; Saturday, September 13 at the home of his parents Conrad and Sophie Custer; and Sunday, September 14 at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, Pelican Narrows, SK. His Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 15, from St. Bartholomew Anglican Church. Edward is survived by his loving family: his children Norah and Lakeisha Custer; his parents Conrad and Sophie Custer; his siblings Beverly (John) Bear, Trevor, Oscar, Dale, Brendon, Byrin, Brendly, Breanna Custer; his adopted sisters Eliza Sewap, Stephanie Eninew, Stella Ballantyne; his uncles Isaac, Alex, Daniel (Mary), Allan B. Custer, David (Mary) Custer, Angus (Victoria), Bradley Sewap, Thomas (Allison), Donald (Serena), Allan (Linda), Melvin (Bernice) Linklater; his aunties Alice Sewap, Joyce Dorion, Rita Custer, Sheila; his grandparents Jessie, Sally (Philip) Custer, Hilda Cook, Maryann McKenzie, Mary Nancy (Paul) Ballantyne, Roy (Angie) Custer, Allan J. Custer, Eli T. Sewap, Frances Linklater; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by: his daughter Natalie Angel (Sweet-pea) Custer; his grandparents Henry and Suzette Custer, Edward and Norah Sewap, Eliza Mary A. Sewap; his uncles Philip, Adam, David, Samson Custer, Ronald and Brendly Sewap, Roland Ballantyne; his aunties Frances and Amelia Custer, Angelique Ballantyne, Vivian Ratt, Sylvia Sewap, Stella Sewap (Eninew); his cousins Samson Jr., Norman Custer, Monica Charles, Damian Bear, Josephine Custer, Stephen Custer, Richard Custer, Marlene Custer, Beverly Ann Custer; his adopted sister Judy Caribou. We would like to express our thanks to the EMT’s who tried to keep our son Edward alive, to the two nurses at the clinic, in Pelican Narrows, and to the many people who came out for their support in our time of need. Interment took place in Pelican Narrows Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Donald M.
