Edna Lens

1937 – 2020

Sadly, on March 4, 2020, at the age of 82 years, Edna Kristina Lens passed away peacefully at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre, Long Term Care. Edna was born on August 27, 1937, to Ida Gullickson and Ole Lens in the Parkside District.

There was a Memorial Service held for Edna on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 11:00 am, from the Great Room in the Parkland Integrated Health Centre with Pastor Chris Dean officiating. Edna was laid to rest in the Parkside Cemetery.

Edna is lovingly survived by her nieces, Shelly (Tyler) Rude and children, Kelsey (Urban); Karen (Darrell) McClarty and children, Joel, Devon, and Brayden; Leanne Lund and her children, Maria, Eline, and Nora. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Ida and Ole Lens; her brother Oscar Lens; her sisters, Inga Lens, Sebel Betts, Ruth Philp, and Irene Schmidt; and her nephew, Hans Jacob Lund.

In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Edna to the Shellbrook & Districts Health Services Foundation.
