Edna Brown
1947 -2025
With heavy hearts and great sadness, the family of Edna Edith Brown announce her passing on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the age of 78 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
Edna was born on October 5th, 1947, to Harold and Mary Read. She was the youngest of 6 brothers and sisters.
Edna married her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life Don Brown on February 17th, 1968, and they spent over 50 wonderful years together. They had 4 children together. Edna was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. She loved dancing, potting flowers and plants, and had many fun times playing Bingo. They spent many, many summers camping at Murray Point.
She made birthdays and family get togethers so much fun with her humor and many laughs. Mom was known as the fun and cool mom and grandma that everyone enjoyed spending time with. Christmas was definitely Mom’s favorite holiday, every corner, every wall, the ceilings were all decked out, her trees were always stunning, and Christmas carols filled the house.
We were all so blessed, and very thankful for all the memories and family times we will cherish. Mom will live on, through all our hearts.
