Dwayne Scott Brittain was born August 2, 1977 in Saskatoon, SK. He was the youngest of six children born to Herman and Rita Brittain (Wuttunee). He passed away peacefully November 1, 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta at 35 years of age.
Dwayne lived in Saskatoon until he was 12 years old. The family moved to Oliver, BC and he lived there until 2006. He loved golf and was employed at the golf course for six years. He enjoyed it so much that he didn’t consider it to be work. Then he tried his hand at winemaking, working at the local vineyard for three years. He then moved to Edmonton to work with his dad at his father’s roofing company until he passed away.
Dwayne was very kind and caring. He had a wonderful sense of humor and liked to make others laugh. Dwayne was family oriented; he cared deeply for his parents and siblings. He met his special partner Lauralai six years ago. They shared many happy times in Edmonton.
Dwayne loved golf and UFC. He loved music and liked to sing along to his favorite songs. He never forgot anything, he had a memory like an “elephant” and was the family “databank”.
Dwayne is survived by his life partner Lauralai of six years, her children Kayla and Keiron, his parents Herman and Rita Brittain (Wuttunee), his three sisters Priscilla (Alvin) Arcand, April Pete, Bonnie (Leon) Gamble and special brother Fabian Wuttunee-Pamburn (parents Thomas and Lillian Pamburn). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Dwayne was predeceased by his grandparents Noah and Violet Brittain, Emily and William Spence, and by his brother Darcy Brittain.
