Douglas William Fowler December 18, 1964 – February 29, 2020
Doug will be remembered fondly by his son Blake, step-son Rick and step-daughter Melissa. He will also be missed dearly by his mother, Wanetta Fowler and his siblings, Maureen Juker of Prince Albert, Murray and Maria Fowler of Martensville, Bradley and Lucy Fowler of Prince Albert and Grant Fowler of Prince Albert.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Virden and Dorothy Palmer of Prince Albert and his father, William Fowler of Prince Albert.
Doug was physically disabled which held him back from being able to accomplish many of the hopes and goals that he had in his life. This did not however hold him back from filling his heart with love, kindness, respect and the desire to help friends and family in any way that he possibly could.
Doug enjoyed the lake. He had taught himself to swim as a young boy and loved the freedom that he experienced in the water.
He also enjoyed fishing both through the ice or from a boat. The freshness of the water along with the wind blowing through his hair always seemed to warm his spirit. It was through times like this that Doug was able to compete on an equal basis and in so doing rekindle his faith.
Doug enjoyed hockey and was a fan of both the Prince Albert Raiders and the Chicago Black Hawks.
In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Douglas may be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, PO Box 105 Glenolden PA, USA. 19036.

Doug you are in our hearts forever
And forever in our mind
You will always be remembered
For your heart, that was so kind
You didn’t have a lot to give
But gave what ere you could
For you would sooner go without
Than keep things like you should
But you left to join our Father
Who forgives what you did wrong
We know again we’ll see your face
And that day will not be long
So Douglas we look forward
And that day will soon be here
And when we see your face again
We’ll greet it with a cheer.
Loving You as Ever
