Dorothy Telfer  passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the age of 93.  Dorothy was born on August 24, 1922 in North Battleford, SK. She met her husband Bob in PACI high school and they married September 5, 1944 and from this union they had four children. Family was her life and she encouraged her children and grandchildren in whatever they decided to try. Mom enjoyed the outdoors, especially the cabin at Emma Lake where she could tend to her garden. She took much pride in her flowers. Her last few years in Abbeyfield were enjoyed with the friendships she developed, time spent knitting, reading, puzzles and especially watching curling, and current events. Mom is survived by her son Bob (Marion) & children, Tricia and Scott (Stacey) & children, Logan, Keira and Katie; her daughter Lynn Telfer; her daughter Betty Harms & children Richard & Victoria; her son Rick (Lynne) & children Joanne (Aaron) & son Sean; her sister Phyllis Thorpe; her brother-in-law Ken Weaver; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many good friends.  She was predeceased by her parents Augusta and John Wilson; her husband Robert; her brother Stafford Wilson; her sister Lillian Baird & her husband Harry; her son-in-law Wayne Harms and her sister-in-law Bess Weaver.  At Dorothy’s request a private family service will be held. Dorothy will always by loved by her family, friends and close neighbors. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Stars Air Ambulance or the S.P.C.A. or to the Victoria Hospital Foundation.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
