With sadness in their hearts but thanksgiving for a beautiful life lived, the family of Dorothy Suzanne Gray (nee Dupuis) announce her peaceful passing at the Rose Garden Hospice on June 8, 2026, at the age of 95 years.  Dorothy was born in Hoey, SK, on February 17, 1931, the fifth child in a family of twelve.  She attended elementary school in Hoey and high school in Duck Lake with Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.  Dorothy took her Registered Nurse training at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, graduating in May of 1953.  She met Harold Gray and they were married on May 9, 1957.  Dorothy nursed in four different provinces while raising a family, having to relocate whenever Harold was transferred.  Their many places of residence included Prince Albert, Regina, Ottawa, Edmonton and Victoria.  Dorothy retired to Shellbrook in 1992, and in October of 2017, River Breeze Retirement Complex in Prince Albert was her home until her passing.

Dorothy is lovingly remembered by her son, Ken (Dawn) Gray; her daughter, Sandra Gray; and her grandson, Mitchell (Summer) Lupichuk.  She will be remembered by her sister, Paulette; her brothers, Lucien (Donna) and Bernard (Peggi); her sister-in-law, Helen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Joanne (1987); her husband, Harold (2021); her sisters, Therese Beauchamp, Denise Provencher, Sr. Lucille Dupuis, Helene Kendel, Alberta Nerbas, and Diana Mansfield; and her brothers, Andre Dupuis and Eugene Dupuis.

Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, Hwy 2 South, Prince Albert, SK.  Following the service, please join the family for a time of refreshments and fellowship at My Place, 2345 10 Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK.
