Dorothy Lynn Chandler “Dot”, age 67 passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon SK with family by her side.  She was born on July 8, 1948 in Prince Albert, SK to Tom and Ruby Ford.  On March 25, 1967 she married the love of her life Henry Chandler.  She did volunteer work at Metis Local 269 and Central Dog Mushers.  Her hobbies were to keep up the family tree and to knit.  Dorothy is survived by her son: Warren Chandler (Tracey Riel); her daughter:  Ruby Humphreys (nee Chandler) (Cory Kosowan); her grandchildren: Michael Chandler and Catherine Vanmeesen, Anthony Chandler, Keegan Humphreys, Kelly Chandler, Jesse Olson, Seth Humphreys and Raini Humphreys; her great grandchildren: Mickey Chandler, Emma Chandler, Darrell Irvin, Janet Chandler, Destiny Chandler and Zachary Irvin; her sisters: June Bacon (nee Ford), Eleanor Stevens (nee Ford) and long time friend Carol McKay (nee Cromartie); as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband: Henry Chandler July 10, 2007; her daughter: Traci Chandler September 11, 1999; her parents: Tom Ford December 4, 1977 and Ruby Ford November 12, 1967; her siblings: Tom Ford January 9, 2008, Marg Finnestead (nee Ford) June 22, 1987, Keith Ford February 13, 1999, Ida Swain (nee Ford) March 31, 2014 and Barb Pocha (nee Ford) July 31, 2015; her in-laws: father-in-law Lloyd Chandler October 22, 2009, step-mother-in-law Minnie Chandler (nee Janas) April 30, 2010 and Jessie Chandler (nee Smith) February 16, 2000; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas officiating.  Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
