Doris Coey

The family is sad to announce the passing of Doris Coey (Pocha) (nee Guydich) at the age 96. Born in Saskatoon, September 11, 1919, Doris moved to MacDowall (Lindsay) area in 1942. She retired from a teaching career in 1983. Doris is survived by her 3 children Jacqueline of Prince Rupert, BC, Robert (Sandra) of MacDowall, SK and Lorraine (Dennis) of Surrey, BC; 2 sisters, Anna Braun of Saskatoon, SK and Marion Hnatiuk of Edmonton, AB; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Ted Pocha in 1975 and second husband Jack Coey in 2010; her son Gordon; 2 brothers John and Bill; son-in-law Syd Robertson; daughter-in-law Ann Pocha and great grandson Ryan Robertson. The family would like to thank Dr. M. Halyk and the Good Shepherd Villas for the excellent care they provided. The request of no service will be honored.
