LaVallee, Dorelle
February 29, 1944 – February 14, 2014

Dorelle LaVallee passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tom and three children: Kevin (Sherry), Shelley, Tracey (Rick) and her seven grandchildren: Kalyn (Kristen), Lindsey (Andrew), Courtney (Cody), Jae-Lyn (Aaron), Leanne (Brant), Alysha, Zachary and her many siblings, nephews and nieces. Dorelle was a confidante to many and had numerous interests throughout her life that included her professional life as an administrative assistant/bookkeeper. Her proudest accomplishments though, were her family, where she made herself available for any task at hand. Her creativity and skill were shared throughout the family. Whether it be sewing, interior decorating, carpentry, upholstering, cooking, gardening, or flooring, she would always happily share her talent. Although, she was a very busy person, Dorelle made time to enjoy coffee with her friends, reading, watching sports and to walk her dog, Belle. Dorelle will always be remembered for her devotion to her family as a wife, Mother and Grandmother. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Roque Concepcion. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
