December 15, 1941 – October 20, 2016

Mrs. Doreen Evelyn Bachur late of Honeymoon, SK passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 74 on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. Doreen was born December 15, 1941 in Prince Albert to Fred and Evelyn Hummerstone.  She later met the love of her life Ed Bachur and married September 10, 1960.  To this union three beautiful daughters were added to the family Cindy, Mandy and Melanie.  Doreen was always there for her family, her grandchildren were her little gems, she loved any conversations she could have with her daughters or a good heart to heart, and when it came to her Edward, anytime spent with him was cherished.  Doreen’s memory will be forever remembered by her husband of 56 years Ed Bachur; her daughters: Cindy (Kenny) Rasmussen and their children: Bradley (Noreen) Rasmussen, Clayton Rasmussen, Sarah (Blaine Flamont) Rasmussen; Mandy Bachur (Derek Sulewski); Melanie (Kelly) Kawula and their children: Blake Kawula, Emma Kawula; great-grandchildren: Zan Rasmussen, Leland Rasmussen, Aiden Rasmussen, Abby Rondeau and Brock Flamont; her siblings: Keith (Dianna) Hummerstone, Fred (Helen) Hummerstone, Eric (Jill) Hummerstone; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.  Doreen was predeceased by her parents Fred and Evelyn Hummerstone.  A Celebration of Doreen’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at St. Albans Cathedral, 1410 Bishop McLean Crescent, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Andrew Hoskin officiating.  Interment will follow at Honeymoon Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca   Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
