Dora Serhienko passed away peacefully at Wheatland Lodge, Leask, Saskatchewan. Dora was predeceased by husband William, daughter Donna, parents Peter and Anna Labach, sisters, Mary Buzowetsky, Margaret Friesen and brother, Alex Labatch. She is survived by her sister Helen Seneshen; son Phillip, grandchildren Trent and Kimberly; son Theodore (Mina) grandchildren Dennis, Kerrie-Ann, Dustin and Dallas; John (Christine) granddaughter Lorraine and fifteen great grandchildren. She was born and raised in an agricultural environment; where along with her family, operated a mixed farm. After marriage, she was a homemaker, living on the farm and her enjoyment in life was love for her family, gardening, and flowers. No one ever left her home hungry! In times of relaxation, she enjoyed reading history, biographies and social science and was extremely knowledgeable of current events and various happenings throughout the world. Her crochet doilies and afghans, adorn many family and friends homes. Dora’s faith and biblical devotion carried her throughout her entire life and gave her peace, in finally being at rest. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Wheatland Lodge for their wonderful care over the past years. Dora's request was for a private service with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
