It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donny Edward Laban, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Black Lake, SK on December 6^th, 2025, at the age of 43 years. Donny was born on September 14^th, 1982 to Jimmy and Roseanna Laban in Uranium City, SK. Donny will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Jimmy (Roseanna) Laban; his brothers & sister: Randy (Margaret) Laban, Darlene (Joseph) Laban, Gary Robillard, & Ryan (Miranda) Laban; his nieces & nephews Myra, Rylee, Rylen, Marcie & Mariah; his uncles & aunties Rosie (Modest) Robillard & family, Evelyn (George) Hugarth & family, Marlene (George) Tsannie & family, Rita Benonie & family, June Bouvier & family, Orest (Celine) Robillard & family, Mathias (Anne) Robillard & family, Adeline Robillard & family, Paul (Rose) Laban & family, Jean (Adolf) Sha’oulle & family, Mary (David) Bigeye & family; as well as numerous family & friends. Donny was predeceased by his brother Johnny Laban; his grandparents Armand (Mary Rose) Robillard & John (Veronica) Laban; his great grandparents Pierre (Sarah) Sayazie, Edward (Lucia) Robillard, Germaine (Estare) Laban & Daphale (Rosalie) Medal; his uncles & aunties Daniel Robillard, Standy Benonie, Ronald Throssie, Ted Bouvier, Rosine (Martin) Broussie, Judith (Norbert) Ettibar & Toby Laban; his cousins Orest Robillard, Kalvin Robillard, Randolph Robillard, Jennifer Robillard, Patricia Robillard, Connie Robillard, Gerry Tsannie, Rachel Mercredi, Sheila Robillard, Gidion Robillard, Ronald Ettibar, Albert Ettibar, Kathy Ettibar, Leonard Broussie, Ricky Broussie, Doris Broussie, Davis Broussie & Curtis Bigeye. A Wake Service will be commencing Tuesday, December 9^th, 2025, at 8PM at the residence of Jimmy & Roseanna Laban in Black Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 12^th, 2025, at 2PM at Our Lady of The Cape RC Church, in Black Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Edmundo Caballero.
