Donald James Pocha

On November 4, 2021 Donny passed away suddenly, following a brief battle with cancer. Donald was born in Prince Albert to Hubert and Norma Pocha on January 30, 1958. Don graduated from Carlton High School. He went on to work at Beaver Lumber until the company closed, he then went to work for Econo Lumber as a laborer where he was still working at the time of his passing. Don enjoyed visiting and had a collection of movies, however his biggest enjoyment was his family, nieces, and nephews. He has quite a photo collection of all of them proudly displaying them on his photo wall.
Don is survived by his siblings Bob (Sharon) Pocha; Kathy (Jim) Owens; Tim (Eileen) Pocha; and Patty (Paul) Rimmer and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his mother Norma Wilson; father Hubert Pocha; step father Stafford Wilson; brothers Dennis Pocha, Myles Pocha, Gerald Pocha, and Randy Pocha; step brother Charlie Pocha, and nephew Ryan Pocha.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, Val Bodnaryk will officiate. Friends are welcome to bring lawn chairs.
