Donald “Don” Edward Dugan passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the age of 71 years. He was born in North Battleford on April 24, 1945 to Thelma and Edward Dugan. Don married the love of his life Florence Bannerman on September 18, 1964 and together they raised three wonderful children. He attended MacDowall School and then Composite High School in Prince Albert, SK. For 33 years he worked for the CN Railroads. Don resided in MacDowall, Prince Albert and Anglin Lake. His many passions were his family, volunteering, hunting and fishing. Don is survived by his wife Florence; his children Terry (Bonnie), Warren (Marilynne) and Ivan (Cherry); his grandchildren Amy (Tyler), Mark, Shauna (Devon), Tyler, Ashley, Luke and Nathan; his siblings Patricia, Howard, Stanley and Florence; as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thelma and Edward; his sister Maryetta and his nephew Lloyd. Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the MacDowall Recreation Centre, MacDowall, SK with The Venerable Dr. Norbert Haukenfress officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to St. Davids Anglican Church, 500 – 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 1S2 or to the MacDowall Recreation Foundation (MDRF), PO Box 122, MacDowall, SK S0K 2S0.
