Donald “Don” Walter Radke
May 1, 1958 – September 9, 2014
Donald passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the age of 56. He was born on May 1, 1958 in Carrot River, SK to Gilbert and Evelyn Radke. Donald was a friend to everyone he met. He was very close to all of his family. Donald had his trailer parked at Tobin Lake. He loved to fish, go quading and anything to do with the outdoors. He spent many weekends reminiscing with cousins there. Donald was always making people laugh, especially when the joke was on them. He was very close to his dog “Bandit”, they travelled everywhere together. Don worked on the pipelines in Alberta for many years, where he made many, many friends along the way. Donald was a giver to anyone he knew that needed help. Donald is survived by his parents Gilbert and Evelyn Radke; three brothers; four sisters; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends; girlfriend Leanne Breland and extended Hebert family. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Jack Freychet and niece Pamela Freychet. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Calvary United Church, 114 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to a Charity of Donor’s Choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
