LARSON, Dillon Christian (June 24, 1998 to April 7, 2021)
It is with absolute grief and sorrow that we announce the passing of our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend Dillon Christian Larson on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan at the age of 22. Dillon was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on June 24, 1998. He was the second of three children born to Christian and Bonnie Larson. He attended Ecole Vickers Elementary School for Kindergarten through Grade 8, Carlton Comprehensive High School for Grades 9 to 11 and graduated from PACI in 2017. After high school he took over his grandfather’s courier business and worked part-time for S.O.S. Electrical. In 2019 he started working at Access Tire; first in the back slinging tires and then at the front desk dealing with customers with his easy-going manner. Dillon was a thoughtful, hard-working, young man who made and kept many friends. He loved live music including Ness Creek festival, playing vinyl records, hosting UFC pay-per-view pizza parties, mastering video games (especially Apex), solving Rubik’s Cubes, eating popcorn and spending time with his girlfriend Vicky. He enjoyed going for walks at Little Red and Kristi Lake to connect with nature. He had aspirations to one day buy his grandparent’s cabin home at Christopher Lake. Towering at 6’5” tall, his long arms gave the best “bear” hugs. Dilly Bear, you have left a hole in our hearts that we will never be able to fill.
His memory will be cherished by his parents Bonnie (Paul Balone) Larson and Christian and Kathy Larson; brothers Evan and Spencer Larson; special friend Vicky Muskaluk; maternal grandparents George and Julie Crowe; paternal grandparents Cliff and Barb Krivak; auntie Tristina Larson; cousins Dezriell Crowe, Tanielle Impey, Kieden Impey, Makenna Impey, Braxten Macek and Daryian Macek; and numerous extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Sarah Larson, Auntie Amy Crowe, cousin Kyiel Impey, and paternal grandfather Lyle Larson. A Private Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. The family thanks all for their understanding and privacy at this difficult time. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Foundation, Saskatchewan Division – 2702 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1J2 or online at https://sk.cmha.ca/get-involved/donate/.
