It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and Popper. Dick was 74 years young and leaves to mourn: his special friend and companion of 27 years: Mabel Moffat (Christopher Lake); her children: Robbie Moffat (Grand Prairie); Trish McArthur (Saskatoon); grandson Danniel Brassard; great-grandchildren: Shayne & Chloe (Saskatoon); Dick’s three brothers: Paul (Marlene) Epp of Clavet, Hank (Pat) Epp of Clavet and Bruno (Betty) Epp of Carstairs; sister-in-law Olive Epp of Clavet; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Dick will forever be missed by his hunting and fishing buddies and those that knew his love for the outdoors. He was born and raised in Clavet, SK, where he farmed until his retirement, then moved to be with Mabel at Christopher Lake. Dick was pre-deceased by his parents, Johanna and Henry; brother John; sister Johanna; sister-in-law Gloria; and step-daughter Frances. A Memorial Service will be held at Mabel and Dick’s farm at Christopher Lake on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 2pm. The Farm is located 2 miles west, and half a mile north of Northside. A Graveside Service will be held at the Pleasant Point Church, Clavet, on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 2pm. For those wishing to attend the farm service, please bring your own seating. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, at 2790 3rd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. Arrangements in care of Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium. Brian and Bev Stobbs, Funeral Directors. 306.763.8488
